I believe in life long learning. I want to give my students the gift of a love of learning. I try to encourage children to put forth their personal best effort and feel the sense of pride in so doing.
Philosophy of Learning Responsibility:
I believe that fourth grade students must practice and assume responsibility for their own learning. Therefore, daily in class, I explain and record each assignment on the white board, where it remains throughout the week. Also, as a class, we spend time each day discussing and writing these assignments in homework planners subject by subject. I believe that this practice equips students with the skills necessary to attend to, plan, and organize any work they need to complete at home. Thank you in advance for your support.
