Nearly every single student waits until the last day to begin memorizing facts for tests. This is an unbelievably ineffective method. Require your child to spend time every night to memorize that day's facts from social studies and science. If you will work together with me on this super important behavior, you will give your child an incredible life-time gift!

SPELLING: We have spelling whenever there is a full five day school week. Spelling pretests are on Mondays and the tests are on Thursdays. Students have spelling homework Monday-Wednesday on 5-day school weeks. Check your child's homework to make sure they are spelling their words correctly. If you don't, you run the serious risk of your child practicing incorrect spellings, just the opposite of what I'm trying to achieve.
