Eureka Union School District wants every student to leave the district with the skills necessary to be ready to succeed in high school, college, and beyond. Instilling the values and teaching the skills to students to prepare them for college and career readiness: academically, socially, and emotionally. School Counselors are the only professionals that have received specialized training in academic, personal/social, and career domains. EUSD values all components of their students, and knows that when a student has social and emotional difficulties occurring in their lives, that they are unable to access learning. Ridgeview students have regular and on-going access to their Counselor, with the goal being to increase academic success, positive social interactions, and attendance.

Ashlee Myers

I attended Montana State University where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with honors in 2013.  I then continued my education at California State University, Sacramento where I earned my Masters degree in Counseling with my emphasis on School Counseling along with my PPS credential.  I am continuing to work towards earning my LPCC license and am an active member of ASCA.

I have always served children and their families through employment or volunteer opportunities and am excited to be able to currently serve the amazing families at Ridgeview Elementary.  I am currently serving Ridgeview part time and am on site Monday, Tuesday, and Friday but am always available through email.

When I am not at work I am spending time with my two sons and my husband.  We enjoy spending time outdoors hiking, camping, exploring, or just hanging out around the house.  We have traveled all over the United States and are looking forward to traveling abroad soon.  My favorite hobbies are photography, writing, and crafting.  My happy places are the ocean and Disneyland.
