Hello Ridgeview Students and Families,

Welcome to a new school year! I am honored to be the principal at Ridgeview and look forward to having a fantastic year with all of you. This letter shares important upcoming dates and general information about the start of the school year.

Our school office will open for the school year on Thursday, August 8th.  The office is open from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., and we will be taking new student registrations at this time.
The first day of school for students is Thursday, August 15th.  Class times for the first two days of school are 9:05 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
If you are new to our school community, we are having a New Family Orientation on the evening of Thursday, August 8th at 5:45 p.m. Come join us for information about Ridgeview and a tour of the campus. We will meet in the Multipurpose Room.

All new and returning families are required to complete student registration online. Through this online registration process, you will complete your child’s emergency card as well as the Annual Parent Notice, which includes the Student Acceptable Use Agreement for Technology.

We are fortunate to have wonderful family support and a Parent Teacher Club (PTC) that raises a significant amount of money to support our day to day functions and our specific needs at Ridgeview. PTC will host our  S.O.S. (Support Our Students) night on August 14th to help raise money to support our activities and events throughout the year. S.O.S. night is from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14th.  This is an opportunity for students to see the school, reconnect with their classmates and learn more about our PTC. Class lists will be posted at 6:00 p.m.  on August 14th after our S.O.S. night.

The Eureka Schools Foundation (ESF) also allows us to provide one of a kind enrichment opportunities for the students at Ridgeview. More than ever before, as we face budget cuts, we are looking to our community to become stakeholders with the ESF, so that our students are able to engage in the incredible enrichment opportunities that they have available in EUSD. These opportunities will only continue with community and parent support.  Eureka Union School District really is an extraordinary district because of these opportunities. The first big event for the ESF is the Fund Run on Sunday, September 29th. This is a fun way to get involved and support EUSD!

Please visit the district and school websites for more information.  If you are receiving this message and you will not be attending Ridgeview this year, please call the school on or after August 8th so we may update our records.

On behalf of the faculty and staff of Ridgeview, welcome back and we are looking forward to an exciting school year!

See you soon!

Mrs. Frisch
